Global Workforce Issues: Seminar

  • Bill Floyd - Vice President and General Manager of Manpower’s Southwest Division.Floyd’s presentation will address how to make your organization continue to grow despite the current global talent shortage.
  • Magdeline Esquivel - Assistant General Counsel of Wal-Mart’s Legal Department in the Employment Division
  • Mauricio A. Herrera - Attorney at Law for Matthews, Campbell, Rhoads, McClure, Thompson and Fryauf.Herrera and Esquivel will discuss immigration law and how it impacts employers.
  • R. Scott Summers - Attorney at Law for Wright, Lindsey & Jennings, LLP.Summers will expose the root causes of many of the most common lawsuits companies face today and provide solutions on how to avoid these pitfalls with a proactive approach.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, September 20th at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Rogers, Arkansas from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration before August 31st reduces the ticket price by $20. Holiday Extravaganza Notice

The Holiday Season may seem far away in the midst of the August heat, but WIN’s Holiday Extravaganza is just around the corner. Start making plans now to attend what is sure to be a fantastic event!

The 2006 WIN Holiday Extravaganza will take place on Nov. 30th at the Embassy Suites Hotel Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This year’s event will include a special fashion show featuring Suited For Success recipients as the models as well as a Silent Auction and cash bar. Attendees will enjoy a plate dinner and receive a goody bag.

Make plans to attend this event now, as there will be only 300 tickets available. When these are sold, no more will be available. Tickets will be sold in advance; further information regarding ticket sales will be presented at the next meeting.

WIN Welcomes Noah Michael Brothers

WIN sends congratulations to Kelly and Michael Brothers who, on July 25, 2006, welcomed the newest member of their family, Noah Michael Brothers. Noah was born at 8:18 pm, at a weight of 8 lbs. 13 oz. and a height of 20 inches. We wish the Brothers family all the best.
