Golf as a Business Skill

MEETING DATE: 20 FEBRUARY 2008
DOORS OPEN: 11:30AM
PRICE: $20 ( Includes Lunch )
LOCATION: EMBASSY SUITES
TOWN: ROGERS, ARKANSAS

Do you use golf as a business skill? Many business connections and transactions take place on the golf course, of which women typically do not participate in. One of the most commonly stated reasons for this is that women feel they are not good enough to engage in business related golf. Women assume most men are very good golfers and that they would rather not play with a beginner. The truth is, most men are not nearly as good as they may say and women can just as easily take control of the game with a little skill. Beverly Wiliams believes golf is the perfect tool for women to use in business networking and women should not be afraid to utilize it as such. Join us in this month to learn how to develop networking skills on the greens from a professional.

Beverly Williams is a Ladies Professional Golf Association ( LGPA ) golf professional and a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division. As a practicing professional Beverly is a great source of current information and knowledge.

During her years teaching and developing golf programs for a variety of skill levels, Beverly worked as the head Women’s Golf Coach at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. The team ranked number one nationally in the National Collegiate Athletic Association ( NCAA ) Division II and her team members held three out of the top five positions on the leader board.

Currently Beverly offers golf lessons to women through the B. Williams Golf School in Bella Vista. Through this program women can walk away with a strong sense of confidence that they belong on the golf course.
