Holiday Stress
The holidays are quickly approaching and with it often bring stress and depression. Regardless of our grand efforts to create a picturesque, Norman Rockwell holiday season, it’s easy to quickly find yourself lost in a battle working, shopping, cooking, cleaning and taking care of children. That stress can easily be a catalyst for illness or even worse, death. Studies suggest a link between a stressful holiday season to increasing heart attack rates in December and January.
On October 24th, Women In Networking will be joined by Dr. Shona Palmer and Dr. Tonya Hough. Dr. Palmer and Dr. Hough will be discussing major factors that affect us all during these stressful times. Everything from immediate family, working environments, food and weight issues, money concerns, common holiday expectations, traveling, events for children and blended families will be covered in an effort to help us all fully enjoy the season. Questions are welcome and encouraged by all members.
For those planning on attending please RSVP using the link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
